DEXA

Bright Radiology DEXA Diagnostic Imaging Service

A DEXA (dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry) scan is a quick and painless test that uses very low-dose X-rays to measure your bone density, usually at the hips and lower spine. It helps identify weakened bones and osteoporosis, assess your risk of future fractures and monitor how well treatment is working.
